There is a need to create online Telugu-English/English-
Telugu Dictionary website that could cater to the needs of Telugu language readers. I have searched on the online about the dictionary but found most of them to be not user friendly. The sites that are offering online Telugu-English or vice versa are mostly related to foreign websites and there are a few Indian websites that are catering on this subject. It is quiet disgusting that we Telugu people are not so sentimental about our language as Tamilians or Kannadigas are. We are just dividing ourselves into different castes,creed and regions and making ourselves a laughing stock to the outside world or within our country. The Telugu language is on death bed and its purity is being lost forever. The attitude of Media in this regard is cause of concern. We are just aping the Western Culture and are putting the English words into the Telugu language in a here say manner. We are failing on our part to discover new words in Telugu that could replace the day to day English words. It has became quite fashionable that we are just mixing our language like a juggler does and putting maximum English words. The anchors participating in the various Telugu channels are not comfortable with the Telugu language they just speak in a fashionable/artificial manner and are just there as a glamor models. It is time to wake up Sid otherwise we will loose our ethnicity and culture. Let us learn a bit from our Tamil /Kannada brothers who are quite sentimental about their language and save our Telugu language from being disintegrated for ever.
